"And not I absolve myself. Indeed, the soul (is) a certain enjoiner of evil, unless [that] bestows Mercy my Lord. Indeed, my Lord (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
And yet, I am not trying to absolve myself: for, verily, man's inner self does incite [him] to evil, and saved are only they upon whom my Sustainer bestows His grace. Behold, my Sustainer is much forgiving, a dispenser of grace!"
I do not exculpate myself. Lo! the (human) soul enjoineth unto evil, save that whereon my Lord hath mercy. Lo! my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful

“This is so, that he may know that I betrayed him not in his absence. Truly God guides not the scheming of the treacherous

And I (as a woman) absolve not myself (from the blame). Verily, the (human) self is the one who repeatedly whispers (commands) for evil, except what (protection) my Nourisher-Sustainer bestowed in mercy. Verily, my Nourisher-Sustainer is Oft-Forgiving, continuously Merciful.”
Not that I am free from sin - man’s soul is prone to evil, except the one to whom my Lord has shown mercy, certainly my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful
And in no way do I acquit my self. Surely the self indeed constantly commands to odious (deeds), except that on which my Lord had mercy. Surely my Lord is Ever-forgiving, Ever-Merciful."
"I do not think that I am free from weakness; all human souls are susceptible to evil except for those to whom my Lord has granted mercy. My Lord is certainly All-forgiving and All-merciful."
And I do not absolve my inner self of blame. Surely, man‘s inner self often incites to evil, unless my Lord shows mercy. Certainly, my Lord is the Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful
"I do not claim that I am angelic, with no ego or desire. The human "Self" is not invincible against temptation (unless we make it surrender to the Divine Commands). It is my Lord's Mercy that mankind are in control of their behavior. Verily, my Lord is Absolver of imperfections, Merciful."
"I am not trying to pretend piety. The self in fact does instigate and nudge towards evil! (Its incitements are not easy to resist), except for those upon whom my Lord showers His mercy. My Lord is the most Forgiving and the most Merciful."
"And I will not forgive my own self (of the sin): True, the soul is likely to fall into evil, unless my Lord grants His Mercy: But surely my Lord is Often Forgiving (Ghafoor), Most Merciful (Raheem)."
And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon which my Lord has mercy. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

"Yet I do not claim my self free of error, for assuredly the human soul always commands evil, except that my Lord has mercy (which saves us from committing evil acts). Surely my Lord is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate (especially toward His believing servants)."
Yet I do not absolve my [own carnal] soul, for the [carnal] soul indeed prompts [men] to evil, except inasmuch as my Lord has mercy. Indeed my Lord is all-forgiving, all-merciful.’

The Chieftain's wife continued, "And I do not claim to be innocent. The self is indeed prone to evil, except for such as my Lord has had mercy on. Indeed! My Lord is Forgiving, Merciful."
And I do not hold my soul free from sin' no doubt the soul is wont to command evil but that on whom my Lord has mercy. No doubt, my Lord is Forgiving' Merciful.
"I do not claim innocence for myself. The self is an advocate of vice, except for those who have attained mercy from my Lord. My Lord is Forgiver, Most Merciful."
Yet I do not consider my soul was innocent, surely the soul incites to evil except to whom my Lord has mercy; indeed, my Lord is Forgiving, the MostMerciful.
And I call not myself sinless; surely (man’s) self is wont to command evil, except those on whom my Lord has mercy. Surely my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful
And I do not acquit myself, that the self (is) incessantly commanding/urging (E) with the bad/evil/harm, except what my Lord had mercy upon, that my Lord (is) forgiving, merciful
“I do not claim to be a saint. The human being always leans towards indecencies; except those who (deserve the Lord’s Mercy and) God takes them under His umbrella of protection. Indeed my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful.”
"And I do not portray my soul as innocent; undoubtedly the soul excessively commands towards evil, except upon whom my Lord has mercy; indeed my Lord is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful."
`And I do not hold my own self to be free from weakness - surely the soul is prone to enjoin evil - save that whereon my Lord has mercy. Surely, my Lord is Most Forgiving, Merciful.
And I do not (claim) absolution of my self. Certainly, the self commands much evil except the one on whom my Lord bestows mercy. Surely, my Lord is All-Forgiving, Ever-Merciful.

Yet I claim not that my soul was innocent -- surely the soul of man incites to evil -- except inasmuch as my Lord had mercy; truly my Lord is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.
Neither do I absolutely justify my self: Since every soul is prone unto evil, except those on whom my Lord shall shew mercy; for my Lord is gracious and merciful
Yet I do not clear myself, for the soul is very urgent to evil, save what my Lord has had mercy on; verily, my Lord is forgiving and merciful!
Yet I hold not myself clear, for the heart is prone to evil, save theirs on whom my Lord hath mercy; for gracious is my Lord, Merciful."
Not that I claim to be free from sin: man‘s soul is prone to evil, except his to whom my Lord has shown mercy. My Lord is forgiving and compassionate.‘
And I do not claim my soul to be innocent. Indeed the soul does prompt to what is evil except that which my Lord has graced with His mercy. My Lord indeed is Oft-Forgiving, All-merciful.
And I do not free myself free from fault. Indeed, the human person is naturally inclined to evil, except for those on whom my Lord bestows His Mercy. Verily, my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
And I do not call myself blameless, for the soul commands evil except when my Lord has mercy, for my Lord is forgiving and merciful.

“I do not exonerate myself... Indeed, the soul commands malice with all its might... Except for those upon whom my Rabb bestows grace... Indeed, my Rabb is the Ghafur, the Rahim.”
And I do not absolve myself, verily the(human)soul enjoins to evil, save that whereon my Lord has mercy; verily my Lord is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
"I'm not trying", she said, "to vindicate my wrong nor do I absolve myself of the guilt which resided in my intention. One's ego inclines one to propound evil except those who are graced with Allah's mercy, and Providence their guide; Allah, my Creator, is indeed Ghafurun (Forgiving) and Rahimun (Merciful)."
And I do not regard my soul free from (short comings), the soul is certainly an enjoiner of evil except that (soul on which) my Fosterer has had mercy, my Fosterer is certainly Protectively Forgiving, Merciful.”
And I do not clear myself, indeed the soul is surely accustomed to command the evil, except what my Lord has had mercy on; indeed, my Lord is forgiving, compassionate.'
